Comedy Hack Finals, September 12th at 7 p.m.

Comedy and tech are colliding at September’s NY Tech Meetup. Comedy Hack Day will throw their biggest hackathon, which puts comedians, developers and designers together to create hilarious tech products. Judges include people from the The Daily Show, Saturday Night Live and the Anil Dash. 

Fireside Chat Featuring Tala, September 12th at 6:30 p.m.

Shivaji Siroya, CEO and Founder of Tala will be sitting down with her investor, Anu Duggan of the Female Founders Fund, to talk about how technology is revolutionizing financial services in emerging markets. 

Web Design & Development Open House, September 13th at 6 p.m.

This free, 2 hour meet up will tell you everything you want to know about getting a web design or web development certificate. You’ll have an opportunity to meet instructors, other prospective students and get a tour of the Noble Desktop facilities. 

Roadmap to a Career in Web Design & Digital Media, September 14th at 6 p.m.

If you’re considering a new career in web design, web animation, visual design or the like, this seminar will help you make an informed decision on how to proceed. You’ll learn what’s happening in the industry and how you should go about achieving goals in your new career. 

Hackathon to End Hunger, September 15th at 7 a.m.

The Godan Summit 2016 aims to urge world leaders to open their national datasets on agriculture and nutrition so that they can be used end hunger around the world. This hackathon will try to use technology to create innovative approaches to making the world hunger-free by 2030. Use your powers for good.
