Are you a marketing genius? You're in luck because you're in demand. New York tech is hungry to fill all sorts of roles that aren't traditional, coding roles (though they're really, really hungry for top tech talent). Here are five amazing opportunities at NYC tech companies for marketers.

B2B Marketing Automation Manager at Updater

What they do: Updater is bringing the process of moving into the 21st Century. Their software takes care of most of the headaches associated with moving that aren’t actually physically moving.

What you’ll do: You’ll be in charge of ensuring the development, growth and success of Updater’s B2B marketing campaigns.

Who they’re looking for: Someone with at least three years of experience creating and executing tech-driven, B2B campaigns and integrated marketing.

Vice President of Marketing at Thuzio

What they do: Thuzio connects businesses to celebrities and other influencers through an online platform.

What you’ll do: You’ll be reporting directly to the CEO, and be in charge of Thuzio’s marketing team as they execute things like lead generation, product marketing, content marketing, etc.

Who they’re looking for: Someone with at least seven years of experience in a leadership marketing role.

Marketing Manager at Artivest

What they do: Artivest is a fintech company that is creating a new way for people to invest in private funds — things like private equity, hedge funds and venture capital.

What you’ll do: You’ll be designing and executing marketing plans that cover multiple company channels both on and offline.

Who they’re looking for: Someone with at least four years of experience working in the financial services industry.

Director of Marketing at SeedInvest

What they do: SeedInvest is a crowdfunding site where companies trade equity for funding. Think Kickstarter meets venture capitalist.

What you’ll do: You’ll be in charge of growing SeedInvest. More specifically, you will increase brand awareness, create strategies to improve user acquisition, oversee digital marketing efforts and the likes. It’s a full-time job, for sure.

Who they’re looking for: Someone with a lot of experience in a marketing management role at a successful startup.

Director of Corporate Communications at Kargo

What they do: Kargo is the go-to shop for companies that need help with mobile brand advertising.

What you’ll do: You’ll be in charge of the company’s public relations, social media, internal communications, thought leadership and content marketing.

Who they’re looking for: Someone with at least five years of experience in a corporate communications role.
