Quip has rolled out quipcare, a new dental insurance plan. After acquiring dental insurance company Afora last year, the sleek direct-to-consumer toothbrush startup announced their own insurance plan aimed at lowering costs. [Built In NYC]

Eden Health and Convene are partnering up. Eden Health just opened their first health clinic inside one of Convene’s co-working space in New York City. They plan to open 25 more clinics in Convene locations across the United States. [MedCity News]

Gen Z-focused mental health platform :betr, to officially launch in September. The site and app will create positive content aimed at the young, depressed and extremely online generation. There will be offices in Boston and New York City. [Built In NYC]

The latest funding news

Signpost raised $52 million as it continues to grow. Signpost helps small companies with their marketing efforts, enabling them to generate repeat business with customers. It does this by helping small businesses capture customer data, automate marketing and consult with marketing professionals.  [Built In NYC]

Staffbase raised $35 million in a Series C. Staffbase is a mobile platform that allows employees to communicate and stay up-to-date on company news. It now has over 200 employees in 7 locations, including a HQ in New York. [TechCrunch]

Glitch makes web development easier. Glitch, a NYC-based company, raised a $30 million Series A to grow its staff and business. The site provides a community where people can share the tools they use to build sites. [Built In NYC]

15Five raised $30.7 million to double its headcount. The software company, which helps managers evaluate employee performance and growth, will also use the funding to invest in its newest product. [HR Dive] 

Sinequa raised $23 million in a Series B. The AI search and analytics company plans to use the newest round of funding to invest in their platform. [Business Wire]

NewsCred raised $20 million to launch its newest marketing tool. The content marketing platform currently claims Twitter, Cisco and Fidelity as its enterprise customers. The latest funding will also go toward expanding its global team and enterprise customers. [Built In NYC]

AeroFarms raised $100 million to expand the vertical farming business. This round values the New Jersey-based company at $500 million, according to The Financial Times. [Agfunder News]

Anvyl raised $9.3 million. The supply chain logistics company helps companies like hims and Harry’s build their product and oversee their production plans. This Series A will allow the company to make hires in engineering and marketing roles and expand its customer base. [Built In NYC]

This instant smoothie maker raised $3.4 million in seed funding. Forget the blender: Kencko packets contain two servings of flash-frozen fruits and vegetables. All that’s needed to make it is water and a shake. The funding will be used to make hires, including nutritionists for the cuisine team. [Built In NYC]
