There’s a space missing from the national media landscape. It’s the place where innovative tech executives and professionals can share detailed, first-hand accounts of the complicated technical and conceptual problems they’re solving every day.

At Built In, we’re correcting for that by building an expert contributor network that will span the nation. On BuiltIn.com, and across our market sites in Los Angeles, New York, San Francisco, Boston, Austin, Colorado, Seattle and Chicago, founders, CTOs, developers, data scientists, marketing heads, UX designers and sales leads will write thoughtful, compelling stories, commentary and dispatches about the innovations they’re working on now and what they predict they’ll be working on next.

The contributors will be an eclectic mix of C-suite veterans and new managers just learning how to lead their teams. The posts will take our audience into Silicon Valley garages, VC pitch meetings and boardrooms at multinational companies. They’ll parse code, map hiccups on the way to product launches, explain marketing and sales strategies and forecast the future. They will be equal parts rollicking and informative.

Most of all, we hope these pieces will help spur actionable ideas about how to approach your next professional challenge, whether it’s raising capital, building a new roadmap or designing an algorithm.

If you think you’d make an excellent addition to our expert contributor roster, send a paragraph outlining the professional challenge you’d like to write about to [email protected]. If our editors are interested, they’ll be in touch.

In the meantime, you can learn more about this new project here.
