Brooklyn Tech Party ExtravaganzaDec. 15 at 7 p.m.

This event is bringing together the Brooklyn tech community to celebrate the holidays and network with food, drinks, music and games. The event is sponsored by a number of influential names in tech, including the IFP Media Center, Fiverr, McCarter & English, Soren Rand, Cohn Reznick, Trinet and WeWork.

 

Startup Institute New York: Talent Expo Fall 2015December 17 at 10:30 a.m.

Come hear Startup Institute New York’s Fall 2015 graduates pitch their skills, ambition and hustle at this event. Together with the Institute’s network of founders, investors and technology experts you’ll have the opportunity to watch each student give a 60-second pitch about what they can uniquely contribute to your team, what they’ve accomplished during the 8-week program and what they have to offer the larger innovation community in New York City. This is a great event to find new team members that will make a big impact at your company, connect with other leaders in the tech community, and get more involved in the New York startup and innovation scene.

 

This event will include pizza, beer and an awesome discussion about how to grow your app. The session will feature talks with industry leaders about all kinds of things related to growth: acquisition and discoverability, deep linking and referral programs, retention and engagement and practical strategies to expand your reach. The evening will include plenty of time for socializing and connecting with other app developers, mobile marketers, mobile startups and mobile enthusiasts.

 

Stylish Tech Show and TellDec.18 at 6 p.m.

This is a free event geared for startups, makers, designers, and inventors who want to showcase their stylish and fashionable tech products. All attendees are encouraged to BYOP (Bring Your Own Product), which can include anything from wearables to 3D-printed clothing.
