Interns will have the ability to call on any size business and discuss with owners & Advertising agencies the benefits and opportunities of the New York Daily News Group portfolio of products, as well as special section initiatives. The Candidate will enjoy a strong team and fun culture while learning to sell advanced advertising products and experience client engagement. This position will perform outbound sales calls including cold calling, lead follow up and sales qualification to develop a portfolio of buying customers and meet and/or exceed daily outbound call quotas. Builds rapport with customers by probing for needs and recommending appropriate solutions. This position is also responsible for meeting monthly, quarterly and annual sales objectives while ensuring optimum customer experience and satisfaction.
