We’re looking for a scrappy, entrepreneurial AI generalist to join our team and help bring early-stage AI ideas to life. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in ambiguity, moves quickly, and has a knack for finding creative ways to prototype and test AI solutions — often with limited resources. You’ll work across a range of experimental AI projects, across different business areas of the company from product to growth to finance, owning small initiatives end-to-end and collaborating with others.
This is not a traditional AI engineering or a straight product role. You won’t necessarily be writing production code, but you should understand how AI tools and workflows function. Whether you’ve led AI-focused hackathon teams, contributed to side projects, or worked closely with technical teams in a product or founder capacity, we’re looking for someone who’s excited to move fast, learn constantly, and explore what’s possible with today’s AI tooling.
Key Responsibilities- Lead fast-moving AI projects — from exploration and experimentation to prototyping and internal testing
- Use no-code/low-code tools or partner with engineers to stand up AI-driven features and tools
- Identify opportunities to apply AI creatively to existing product and business challenges
- Stay up to date on the latest AI models, APIs, frameworks, and trends — and translate those into practical applications
- Collaborate cross-functionally with product, engineering, design, and operations to explore new ideas
- Set up and run lightweight tests or pilots to validate ideas quickly
- Own documentation and internal communication around your projects and findings
- 2+ years of experience in a technical-adjacent role such as product management, technical program management, or engineering – this could be practical experience gained during college
- Strong interest in and exposure to the AI/ML landscape, including hands-on experience with AI projects (even if not in a formal role)
- Proven ability to take initiative, self-direct, and execute on early-stage ideas
- Track record of participating in hackathons, building side projects, or experimenting with emerging tech
- Comfortable navigating uncertainty and rapidly evolving tools
- Not afraid to get into the weeds — whether that’s wrangling prompts, playing with APIs, or iterating on a proof of concept
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset
- Nice to have: founder or early-stage startup experience
Compensation range for this role can vary widely depending on experience, and for this role an indicative range is $100k-$150k + equity. Other benefits include:
