Role Summary

The Associate Director of Business Development to supports and strengthens the day-to-day execution of our new business efforts. This role reports to and works closely with the Head of Business Development to keep opportunities organized, moving forward, and well-positioned, while also elevating the quality and consistency of Noble’s pitch materials, sales narratives, and internal sales processes.

This is a hands-on role that blends pipeline management, pitch execution, sales enablement, and operational systems thinking. The ideal candidate brings strong communication skills, sharp organizational instincts, and the ability to translate complex work into clear, compelling narratives that help convert high-value opportunities into successful client engagements.

This role will collaborate across Strategy, Media, Marketing, Finance, and Operations to support the structures and storytelling that power Noble’s growth engine, and to ensure continuity from pitch through onboarding.

Key Responsibilities (other duties as assigned)

Pipeline and Opportunity Management

  • Support and oversee day-to-day sales activity in alignment with new business priorities.
  • Manage pipeline tracking, reporting, and documentation across active opportunities.
  • Support qualification of inbound and outbound opportunities before advancement, ensuring fit, clarity, and completeness of key inputs.
  • Ensure clear briefs are prepared for all deals, and that critical information is captured and shared at each phase of the sales journey.
  • Proactively flag risks, gaps, and opportunities that require senior attention or intervention.
  • Maintain disciplined pipeline hygiene and reporting visibility via tools such as Pipedrive, Slack, and weekly status updates.
  • Surface insights, patterns, and process improvements to the Head of Business Development to improve win rate and reduce inefficiencies.

Pitch and Proposal Execution

  • Lead or support pitch development across timelines, deliverables, internal coordination, and final readiness.
  • Partner with Strategy, Media, Creative, and Leadership teams to shape pitch narratives and recommendations.
  • Serve as a primary internal point person to ensure pitch workstreams are aligned, moving forward, and fully supported.
  • Ensure pitches and proposals meet Noble People’s standards for clarity, creativity, and strategic rigor.
  • Support development of proposals, scopes, and SOW inputs in collaboration with Finance and Operations to ensure pricing, timelines, and deliverables are accurate and aligned.
  • Participate in pitch presentations as appropriate.

Sales Enablement and Growth Narrative Development

  • Develop and refine sales materials including credentials decks, case studies, proposals, and pitch assets.
  • Translate client work, performance outcomes, and subject-matter inputs (including media insights) into compelling sales narratives that clearly articulate Noble’s value.
  • Build category-specific go-to-market stories grounded in business context, audience needs, and market dynamics.
    Contribute to POVs, industry insights, and other materials that support outreach and new opportunities.
  • Codify internal knowledge into reusable tools, frameworks, templates, and sales resources that improve efficiency and consistency.

Process Improvement and Cross Functional Collaboration

  • Support refinement of new business processes, tools, documentation, and internal operating rhythms.
  • Improve continuity between sales and delivery teams by ensuring smooth handoffs and clear onboarding inputs.
  • Collaborate with Marketing and PR teams on integrated growth initiatives, including thought leadership, awards, conferences, and speaking opportunities.
  • Stay connected to internal agency workstreams to ensure pitch materials and sales narratives reflect current capabilities and real client outcomes.

Requirements
  • 6+ years of experience in media, strategy, marketing, growth, or sales enablement roles.
  • Strong understanding of media channels, measurement approaches, and performance frameworks.
  • Experience developing presentations, proposals, or client-facing materials.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate complex ideas into clear, persuasive content.
  • Strong project management skills and comfort working in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments.
  • Ability to collaborate with senior leaders and cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Strategic thinker with strong conceptual storytelling skills.
  • Comfortable leading workstreams and contributing to high-stakes pitches.
  • Systems-oriented with an eye for operational improvements.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities.
  • Collaborative mindset and a proactive, solution-oriented approach.
