SiO Beauty is an exciting new anti-wrinkle skincare line that leverages medical grade silicone that has been used by doctors for burns and scars for more than 30 years. Launched in July 2016, SiO started with a proprietary skincare patch that focused on the decollette and then added new facial products in July 2017 that immediately more than doubled sales, subscribers and influencer buzz.  We focus on direct to consumer marketing using top of the curve digital development, marketing and conversion strategies.

We are seeking a passionate, dedicated, organized and entrepreneurially minded Brand Marketing Manager.  In this role you will own campaigns, from small to large, that create awareness and enagagement around SiO. You will be driving campaign and project development, working across all teams – from PR to Marketing to Creative, and even tech. The ideal candidate lives and breathes beauty, follows all the cool e-commerce startups and has a knack for copywriting, ideating and storytelling.

SiO is housed within Loeb.nyc, a venture lab founded by Loeb Enterprises, so you will work in a shared open space environment with a number of other dynamic, leading edge start ups. As Brand Marketing Manager, you will also help support the team in almost all aspects of the business, including finance, operations, digital and print marketing, public relations, social media, market research, product development, branding and creative development.

 

SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support and execute a variety of marketing campaigns (digital, traditional, direct to consumer), across social media, influencer and public relations initiatives
  • Think out of the box to break through the clutter and build valuable partnerships for our brand and the founder
  • Develop and execute, with the SiO team + external partners (e.g. public relations), both online and offline initiatives that help increase brand engagement, loyalty and sales
  • Work closely with creative, digital and sales to ensure the brand and storytelling are consistent across all channels
  • Creative development – develop creative briefs, manage content direction, partner with creative teams, organize and provide feedback and source creative benchmarks
  • Build and foster influencer engagement with the brand
  • Drive public relations initiatives and the social media calendar to increase engagement, build brand value and communicate the value of the product
  • Seek partnerships that drive brand awareness – from pop-ups, to experiences, to events
  • Work on product innovation and manage development for new launches, exclusive offers, holiday initiatives
  • Follow and track strategies of competitors in beauty, direct marketing and relevant industries and apply insights to SiO
  • Maintain budgets, inventory and scheduling for all executed initiatives
  • Manage agency and external partner budgets, project plans, content calendars and timelines
  • Assist in various office and administrative tasks (no task is too small attitude)

 

REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • Passion for thinking creatively, developing and executing ideas
  • Excellent project & time management skills, great at communicating cross-functionally to key stakeholders
  • An eye to develop, critique and evolve creative marketing content
  • Experienced with social & web analytics tools (i.e. Facebook, Instagram, Google Analytics etc.)
  • Strong presentation and communication skills
  • A self-starter with a can-do attitude who can take a project and run with it
  • A motivated, curious, friendly demeanor with a team player mentality
  • Experience with a growing brand or start up is a major plus!
