Business Development Lead
Call9 is an innovative telemedicine platform that is laser-focused on preventing avoidable hospitalizations from our country’s nursing homes and skilled nursing facilities (SNFSs). Our platform connects remote emergency physicians with on-site emergency medicine trained Clinical Care Specialists, who work together to rapidly address patient emergencies.
We are leading the shift to value-based care in America, and our platform helps everyone do better; patients stay out of the hospital, health plans avoid unnecessary hospitalization expenditures and SNFs provide immediate access to high-quality, critical care for their residents.
We’re growing RAPIDLY, and recently raised $24M to accelerate our growth in New York City.
We’re looking to hire a Business Development Lead to bring our innovative care delivery model to Skilled Nursing Facilities across New York. As the first dedicated business development hire, this is an opportunity to grow into a leadership role within a highly growth-oriented healthcare company.
You’re a hungry, solution-oriented and intelligent business development professional that lives by the phrase “Do well while doing good”. You’re incredibly curious about the real-world challenges that older adults and providers face, and can serve as the chief evangelist for the Call9 solution.
You see opportunity for partnership and are able to creatively identify key decision makers at target accounts with cold calling/prospecting, and aggressively managing the activity levels that are required for success. You don’t need a prescriptive sales ‘playbook’ to be successful, and love challenging & pushing the organization to perform at higher levels.
⇼ Prospect, solicit, and create qualified opportunities for the Call9 solution with Skilled Nursing Facilities in New York
⇼ Manage primarily outside sales processes from prospect to close, while managing and communicating your progress with the pipeline
⇼ Lead contract negotiations with new Skilled Nursing Facilities and actively work with cross-functional teams (Payer contracting, Nursing & Clinical Operations, Finance) for team-selling
⇼ Bachelor’s degree
⇼ 3-6 years of business development experience, preferably selling into healthcare providers in NYC
⇼ Strong communications skills, and knows how to keep people in the loop without spending excessive time on it
⇼ Experience working in a fast-paced start-up environment preferred
