Our happy client base is growing at the speed of light and we need a few extra hands on deck! It takes a lot of time and effort to bring new clients into the Updater family – your job is to help us keep those clients on track for a quick and easy onboarding. You’ll be the go-to person for all things onboarding at Updater– everything from wrangling spreadsheets to coordinating trainings to corresponding with our newest clients. While you’re at it, you’ll learn what it takes to be a Client Success Manager here at Updater (and other NYC startups!). We’re seeking an extremely organized, personable and responsible Client Onboarding Coordinator to help our Client Success Team create and cultivate all of our very important client relationships. We're looking for a detail-oriented problem solver who is passionate about customer service and technology. What you'll do:

  • Lead new clients through Updater’s onboarding process with the goal of getting clients up and running quickly
  • Coordinate and deliver product training and configuration sessions to clients
  • Provide “go-live” support for clients in onboarding – including integration, customizations, and basic Updater support
  • Partner with the Success Manager and Sales Manager to evaluate client business objectives to make strategic recommendations
  • Work with Updater teams to research integration issues during setup. Communicate with the client and concisely document issue
  • Demonstrate a desire to help other people with specific technical issues and be able to understand the support process from the client’s point of view
  • Assist our Client Success team in the day-to-day operations of accounts, including maintenance, and expansion
  • Providing meaningful feedback and feature requests from clients to our product team in an effort to help improve the onboarding experience

What you have:

  • 1-2 years experience implementing software with clients
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, tact, and proactive problem-solving capabilities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate to a diverse audience
  • Strong work ethic and ability to work efficiently and effectively with minimal supervision
  • Strong experience with MS Excel required; experience with databases (SQL) and analytics technology (Domo) a plus
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects while paying strict attention to detail
  • PERSONALITY! We’re looking for a captivating and engaging people person – you’re passionate about what you do, and you want the whole world to know it!
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent
