About the Role 

The Innovation team at Frame.io is looking to build out a team to develop premium, original content and experiences for a global audience of video professionals.  

You will be responsible for optimizing production and post production workflows. Your goal is to create effective, engaging content that is on-brand and meets the objectives of the broader organization. This position requires a refined understanding of the unique challenges and opportunities of video production and cinema workflows. You will join a bright, fast-paced team with highly visible, strategic work. 

You are comfortable embracing new workflows and technology -- you'll be uniquely positioned to test-drive new features and products. 


Responsibilities

  • Handle and maintain all new video assets including transcription, captioning, titling, file naming, key words and tagging 
  • Edit short and medium format content to broadcast quality standards including: behind-the-scenes features, case study interviews, special event packages, company announcements,  product education videos, promos and marketing sizzles
  • Expertly apply finishing and packaging skills to each edit, including: color correction, sound design, sound mixing/eq, graphics and multi-format delivery
  • Be supremely organized and proactive at every stage of a project - from footage intake to distribution. You will oversee the organization, archival and delivery of the department’s media
  • Shepherd large deliverables lists for a world class marketing media strategy 
  • Work closely and partner with Brand Studio, Marketing and Growth teams to iterate on creative video assets that support the business and brand goals 
  • Logs feature ideas and improvements to help provide user feedback to PDE teams


Requirements

  • 3+ years of relevant experience in editing
  • 2-3 years AE and motion graphics experience a huge plus
  • Must be very detail-oriented and organized. You're quick to respond and can handle fast-changing priorities
  • Expert in cinema workflows and post production technology 
  • Experience in high volume short-form content creation (social media, promos, etc)
  • Brings a high level of technical and editing technique knowledge to every project 
  • Has an interest in not only showing off Frame.io technology but using it in daily workflows
  • A creative mind that can iterate on multiple versions of the same asset making existing footage fresh and engaging  
  • Be social media minded in terms of trends, best practices, and innovative techniques to churn out content 
  • Logs feature ideas and improvements to help provide user feedback to PDE teams
  • Extensive knowledge of post production workflows and proficiency in FCPX, Premiere and Frame.io
  • An eye for graphic design highly desirable
