Associate Editor, Branded Content (Financial Services)
Dotdash is seeking an Associate Editor, Branded Content to join our team. The perfect candidate will have knowledge of personal finance, investing and retirement products and topics and has experience working with branded content. Reporting to the Editor, Strategic Content and part of the Dotdash Finance sales marketing team, you’ll play a key role in creating compelling content that serves both our readers and our advertisers with integrity.
Our growing business spans not only our core endemic financial sites (Investopedia and the Balance) but offers the opportunity to develop bespoke programs that touch on multiple life stages and can live across our entire suite of 14 premium brands spanning personal finance, investing, sustainability, food and beverage, home decor, wellness, tech, and travel.

About Your Contributions
- Edit, publish, assign, and write when necessary, branded content created in partnership with advertising clients
- Collaborate with sales marketing, planning and program management teams to deliver content on time and in line with partner expectations
- Participate in pre-sales brainstorming sessions and other activities to generate ideas for custom content campaigns for clients
- Write and edit ad product marketing copy that is persuasive, editorially sound, and accurately positions partner products & services to our readers
About You
- 2-3 years of editorial experience and a related undergraduate degree
- Experience both editing and writing
- Working knowledge of personal finance, investing, trading and retirement topics
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- Previous experience working with branded content is a plus
- Previous experience in a client-facing role is a plus
