The Dodo is seeking a motion graphics editor with strong technical and basic animation skills to join our expanding video team that creates some of the most loved and well recognized content across Facebook, Facebook Watch, Instagram and Snapchat. To thrive in this role, you’ll need to have experience setting up projects, versioning existing videos to different formats and repackaging content. You’ll feel comfortable hunting down and reconnecting media from different servers and drives and exporting publishable work in multiple dimensions. The ideal candidate will have an obsession with digital media, and be nimble and ready to adapt to evolving platforms. Strong technical skills and knowledge of post production workflows are key.

Responsibilities:

• Repackaging existing projects for different platforms
• Creation and basic animation on elements for video projects
• Media management for larger projects
• Collaborating on design concepts for new formats

Qualifications:

• 2-4 years relevant experience editing on Adobe Premiere and After Effects
• Photoshop and illustrator skills a plus
• Desire to work for a mission driven company and a love of animals
• Extremely creative, organized and dedicated to joining a best-in-class video team
• Able to work independently and also collaborate on larger projects
• Deep understanding of the Dodo brand and a drive to excel at the kind of storytelling that resonates emotionally with animal lovers
