The Role:

We are looking for a passionate and experienced B2B content marketing manager. This role will be essential in working across functions to create a more disciplined and effective content marketing strategy and execution plan that engages prospects and clients (retention) in our thought leadership content and points of view in increase web traffic and brand awareness. She/he will work across the marketing and sales teams to plan, develop, implement and measure our content marketing efforts in ways that will improve the client/prospect experience, lead generation, movement through the marketing funnel and client retention.

How You Will Make an Impact:

  • Become the subject matter expert in key targeted personas and industries
  • Accountable for all content marketing initiatives to drive traffic, engagement and leads that deliver sales and customer retention
  • Collaborate across marketing, sales and other functions to deliver an effective content marketing strategy and editorial plan to meet our business objectives
  • Come to the table with a brand and client-centric publisher mindset; create the content our audiences are looking for and then optimize the path to conversion
  • Create pillar content strategies and shareable content that people actually want for distribution on appropriate platforms across the online and offline environments
  • Develop governance processes so content is consistent
  • Publish an editorial calendar and workflows to manage content effectively
  • Integrate all content programs with brand campaigns to drive brand to demand
  • Measure and report the results of all content marketing initiatives to ensure continuous improvement

What You Bring to The Team:

  • You are a B2B storyteller and a data analyst wrapped up in one.
  • You have an editorial mindset that seeks to understand what our audiences consume and where they consume it, orchestrating digital content strategies across all online platforms
  • You know what it takes to create engaging and original blog posts, emails, videos, ebooks, white papers and more in collaboration with our creative services team
  • Knowledge of the latest digital and content marketing trends
  • Repurpose popular content across multiple platforms and influencers
  • Ensure website pages and landing pages are effective and continuously improving
  • Implement SEO best practices
  • Ability to analyze and present content marketing performance and recommended actions
  • Experience with wordpress, Google analytics and marketing automation technologies
  • Exceptional written and verbal communications, project management and collaboration skills
  • Experience in targeting HR and Payroll decision makers is preferred but not required
  • Occasional need to work outside of normal business hours as required to support customers may be required
