Branded Archival Producer
***Please note, this is a project/contract position that will have a designated end date.
OVERVIEW:
The VICE Archival research and licensing team is looking to hire an Archival Producer to act as the leading expert in media research and procurement for commercial lines of business.
DUTIES:
Provide consultation to creative development and production teams on clearance hurdles and potential licensing costs of commercial campaigns
Research and negotiate licenses of 3rd party materials for use in commercial campaigns
Maintain an organized database of all releases and media files for the department
Advise creative teams and producers of copyright and clearance protocol; handle regular internal training and liaising for access to our third-party vendor services
Coordinate within the R&C department to ensure all content is 100% clear
Hire freelance support as needed for intensive projects
EXPERIENCE / EDUCATION:
Impeccable attention to detail and organizational skills a must!
3 years experience in media licensing for commercial content production
Must have excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to multi-task and prioritize
Strong research abilities and problem solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Experience with employee hiring and management
Working knowledge of Google docs environment
Ability to create visual analytics from data sets to present to supervisors
Must be able to work in a multi-discipline collaborative environment
Must be proficient in excel / numbers
Strong sense of visual storytelling a plus
