Business Development, Content
As a Business Development, Content, you will play a key role in shaping the future direction of Newsela’s content offerings, enabling Newsela to adapt to shifting business and market needs. To build a comprehensive pool of licensable content, you will identify, analyze, and execute the seeking of new content partners, content formats (e.g. videos, novels), and content direction/strategy (e.g. new revenue models, market opportunities).

You have proven ability to conduct market research, complete with in depth understanding of product and user segmentation, customer journey analysis, and building strategies to drive long-term, sustained behaviors. You are just as comfortable meeting with a data analyst as you are with an executive of a textbook publisher. Success in this role requires deep understanding of individuals at Newsela, our company as a whole, and the broader K-12 market.
