This role will be responsible for writing marketing, sales, presentation and pitch materials. You’ll need strong strategy and writing chops, and the ability to manage projects with a limited lead time. This is a full-time, contract role onsite in San Francisco or New York. 

What you’ll do:

• Work across advertising programs, narratives and product marketing translating data and insights into actionable and compelling materials for use across our marketing channels
• Create materials that clearly communicate Pinterest’s value to businesses such as presentation decks, one pagers, case studies, sales collateral, printed materials and event signage 
• Ability to render intent through clear messaging to achieve specific customer goals
• An understanding of how to build out a strategy based on the brief 
• Create and execute copy while maintaining Pinterest voice and tone, usability and brand continuity

What we’re looking for:

• 8+ years of experience as a writer in a creative environment
• An understanding of the Pinterest brand and products 
• Proficient in Keynote and G Suite
• Strong sense of verbal and written skills, and acute attention to detail
• A robust online portfolio featuring work for presentations and digital marketing 
• Experience working quickly and efficiently, and keeping pace in a lightning-fast tech environment
• A proactive and collaborative mindset 
• Experience is the tech industry is a plus
