ROLE:

Spot.IM is seeking a multifaceted Community Manager to join our global team and help drive Spot.IM’s most strategic initiative for 2018, Community Pages!  With Facebook deprioritizing news, Spot.IM is working with publishers to build solid long-lasting communities within their own platforms.  You will be responsible for spearheading this initiative and creating engagement and communities for millions of users!  

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Collaborate with partners to develop innovative and high-impact social integrations and drive operational management of partnership projects
  • Develop best practices engagement policies and guidelines to ensure a positive and active online community experience
  • On-going community sentiment analysis, insight, and recommendations
  • Play an active role in listening to and monitoring social conversations across our channels and within the social space to garner insights that will help optimize social marketing strategies
  • Partner with external/internal social media/press/community operations teams to assist with resolving partner inquiries and identify potential issues that require escalation and involvement by cross-functional stakeholders 
  • Conduct regular QA checks within programs and community forums, proactively addressing themes, trends, and problem areas - offering guidance and direction for all programs
  • Work alongside partners to develop strategic communication plans to provide direction for all communication within the community, providing insights and recommendations for engagement emails 
  • Develop promotion plans to increase usage and membership for the community
  • Help monitor and light maintenance of Spot.IM social media platforms

WE VALUE:

  • 3-4 years’ experience working within the social/digital space
  • Project management experience, with experience leading and handling time-sensitive, cross-functional projects on deadlines
  • Personally active on social media, including but not limited to Snapchat, Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter
  • Passionate about quality social media content development
  • First-mover interest and experience with emerging social media platforms
  • Experience working with international partners
  • A self-starter, highly motivated with good organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to multi-task and efficiently manage time and prioritize
  • The drive and hunger to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Proven organizational skills and attention to detail
