The Role

As a Content Solution Architect you will be a member of Newsela’s Sales team; you will build relationships with districts across the country, each with distinct content and instructional needs. Working closely with the field sales team, you will apply your pedagogical expertise and consultative skills to architect content solutions that delight districts, teachers and students by enabling engaging and aligned learning to take place in classrooms. By habit, you rely on data, research and industry best practices to inform your day to day, and on your creativity and ingenuity to ensure the final output is delightful to our users.

Building on your 3+ years of teaching experience and M.Ed in Curriculum & Instruction, you are a curriculum guru with experience designing quality instructional resources, preferably in a cross-curricular capacity across ELA, Social Studies and Science. You have experience identifying instructional needs and building consensus on the just-right solution with multiple stakeholders. Never one to shy away from a public speaking opportunity, you are always willing to hop on a plane to evangelize the importance of bringing curricular vision to life through accessible and differentiated content. In your free time, we can find you scouring your favorite ed-blogs for content and instructional trends in and around your state. When asked to do the impossible for student achievement, you respond with “I’ll figure it out” and think of all the faces you know will benefit from your grit and quality work ethic.
