We’re looking for a Copy Lead to join Vimeo’s Marketing and Creative team based in NYC!
In this lead role, you will collaborate with Product Marketing and Creative to best communicate Vimeo’s products to a global audience, from creative professionals to small business owners and large organizations.
You will guide and craft messaging that will perform across a wide range of marketing channels and touchpoints. These will include (but are not limited to): marketing landing pages, product video scripts, CRM campaigns, performance marketing, social posts, and SEO optimized site pages. From compelling video scripts through to simple headlines and explanatory long copy.
You will assist other writers and designers on larger brand activations, videos, events/virtual events, and more.
What you’ll do:
- Work closely with our VP of Creative, designers, writers, as well as Product Marketing, Paid Marketing, CRM, and Growth to communicate Vimeo’s products and services
- Craft and guide messaging that raises awareness and drives adoption
- Work with SEO guidance to ensure our pages are optimized
Skills and knowledge you should possess:
- 5-7 years of experience leading creative teams for brands in-house or at an agency. Ideally both.
- A bachelor’s degree, and a background in copywriting and creative
- Experience with cloud software like G-Suite
Bonus points:

- Product and marketing copywriting
- Experience with international marketing
