What will you do? 

As our part-time copywriter, you’ll collaborate with our Creative Director, designers, and performance marketing team to create new ads, content, experiences, and more. 

Specifically you will:

• Generate headlines and copy variants for testing across digital channels 
• Create new copy for our website and landing pages
• Write our monthly emails 
• Concept and script new videos

This is a great opportunity for a rising writer looking to play an important role on a fast-growing, mission-driven .

Scope 

We’re looking for an ongoing commitment of 20 hours/week. There is a possibility for the role to expand as our team and workload continues to grow.

Requirements 

• Proven experience working in a fast-paced publishing environment; agency or in-house creative backgrounds are preferred
• Comfort with data. You’ll be driving performance advertising initiatives, and you should know how to use data to make your work stronger.
• A strong storytelling sensibility. We’re pushing ourselves in new directions as a brand, and we want someone who can help us find new ways to express ourselves. 
• Demonstrated ability to write tight, sharp copy. There are a lot of nuances to our brand. The challenge is finding ways of keeping it all punchy and interesting.
• Interest in our mission. We’re working to take America’s homes off of fossil fuels. We think that’s pretty cool, and you should too. 
• Easy to work with. Good ideas can come from anywhere, and we work hard to foster an open, collaborative environment.
