How you'll make an impact at Collibra:

As an Education Media Specialist, you will collaborate with the Education & Training team to develop quality educational animation, instructional graphics, and other multimedia materials to facilitate learning in an online environment.

A day in the life of an Education Media Specialist at Collibra:

You’ll be reporting directly to the Senior Manager, Collibra University,  and will be responsible for a wide range of tasks, including:

  • Design visually compelling videos for the following all educational initiatives using professional video design software 
  • Perform cameraman responsibilities including lighting setup, proper camera settings and ensuring quality output
  • Collaborate with Instructional Design team on all video production and post-production editing initiatives
  • Brainstorm and design visual concepts that support the educational outcomes including video and motion graphics
  • Collaborate with Education management of delivery timelines
  • Participates in the evaluation of educational materials and delivery methods
  • Provides consultation and creative assistance to internal and external groups, as needed
  • Stays informed of industry trend as well as unique approaches to information graphic design

You Have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Visual Communication, Instructional Design, Media, or closely related field
  • At least three years of experience in digital media production, including planning, shooting, editing and creating motion graphics for instructional/educational video
  • Strong motion graphic editing skills with Adobe After Effects
  • Strong video editing skills with Adobe Premiere
  • Strong production knowledge and experience
  • Experience editing images using Photoshop and Illustrator
  • Experience creating e-Learning or web-based tutorials
  • Experience in screencast editing using Camtasia
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and re-prioritize quickly and efficiently
  • Solid problem-solving and critical thinking skills
  • Excellent project management skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of LMS Platforms is a plus
  • Link to Portfolio samples required
