A flexible freelance writing opportunity at a fast-growing fintech startup in the buy now, pay later space. This position reports to the Senior Content Manager.We are developing a consumer-facing blog that speaks to the needs of our audience—primarily stylish and savvy, upwardly mobile millennials—and we want you to help shape its voice. As we build our blog into a true destination for savvy shoppers, we’re looking for the right candidate to craft engaging, well-curated content that serves to inform and entertain our readers while contributing to an overall lift in our transactions and app downloads.

You will write 3-5 articles per month for the QuadPay blog, some of which will involve curating featured products and brands in a listicle format. The topics will be largely dictated by our marketing calendar, but bonus points if you can come to the table with article ideas of your own!

The content will fall into three main categories:

• Fashion-focused content featuring our partner retailers
• Budgeting & smart spending tips
•  Company updates & product how-tos

Submitted articles will include:

• Meta description
• Suggested URL/slug
• Header + product images
• Italicized standfirst/teaser copy
• Section headers
• Backlinks to relevant landing pages or related blog posts
• Proposed social copy for Twitter / Facebook, Instagram, and Linkedin (where applicable)

What You Should Have:

• You should have a portfolio of B2C and/or D2C writing samples to share.
• Experience writing for the fashion industry or in the fintech space a plus.
• The successful applicant will be open to receiving feedback, adopting our specific brand tone (and adapting accordingly as we refine our voice!), and integrating SEO elements into your writing.
• The candidate must be detail-oriented, self-motivated, and a stickler for deadlines.
