Role:
As the Head of the Education research, you will be responsible for the metrics, goals, and long term roadmap for the education and insights research team. Partner with other research teams to offer insights regularly to marketing and product teams, while also sharing pertinent information with the rest of the company at large. You will manage researchers and present research publicly at conferences and other external research engagements.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a research team roadmap and strategy
- Build out team and be responsible for the results, engagement, and retention of employees on the research team
- Develop systems and processes for improving pace and scale of education research at TpT
- Lead, design, and oversee research projects that support company initiatives
- Design and develop research projects for publication and submit proposals to conferences and journals
- Grow and expand TpT’s network of research experts and participation in research partnerships and forums.
- Partner with cross functional research teams to scale research systems and guidelines that can be applied uniformly and ethically across all researchers in the company.
Requirements:
- PhD or research experience that could be considered equivalent
- 5+ years of education-related experience and/or established track record in research
- Experience in conducting quantitative and qualitative research
- Has excellent verbal, written communication, and presentation skills
- Demonstrates strong time management, organizational and problem-solving skills
- Ability to perform independent research and analysis
- Strong attention to detail, extremely well-organized, and ability to meet frequent and changing deadlines.
- Ability to manage a number of projects simultaneously.
