WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Develop, direct, plan, and evaluate training programs, workshops, or activities to meet external customer or internal employee learning objectives
  • Jump in to individually tackle complex content projects or in peak utilization periods
  • Be accountable for the overall quality of team deliverables
  • Regularly measure and report turnaround time and quality metrics for client
  • Oversee and delegate tasks to content creators per workflow guidelines
  • Identify areas for improvement and coach content creators
  • Manage workload and delegate tasks across team of content creators
  • Collaborate with client, instructional designers, and experience designers to improve presentation designs and incorporate changes
  • Serve as the “escalation point” for client requests
  • Build strong relationships with internal teams to leverage internal tools and resources

REQUIREMENTS

  • A master’s degree in Education, Instructional Design, or related discipline
  • 8+ years instructional design experience
  • 2+ years of people and project management experience
  • Ability to build rapport and instill trust and confidence
  • A flexible mindset and agile approach to deliverables. Ability to adopt style to engage with different kind of stakeholders
  • Strong project management skills
  • Expert level knowledge of instructional design methodologies including but not limited to: ADDIE model, SAM, backward design, e-learning blueprint, design thinking, and interactive learning experiences
  • Experience using authoring tools, such as Captivate, Storyline, or Evolve to create sophisticated adaptive learning content
  • Understanding of visual information design concepts and multimedia principles
  • Knowledge of adult learning theory
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent English written and verbal communication skills. Careful listener and good communicator (speaking and writing)
  • Passion, energy, a positive mindset, and a ‘can-do’ attitude
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize, work independently, and meet strict deadlines
  • Track record of being reliable, responsive, and client-centered
  • Resilience and ability to work under time pressure, manage workload, and prioritize strategically
