We are looking for a Junior Copywriter who will create copy and communicate a language that amplifies our message across different channels and markets. Working with the Marketing team, you'll be using your storytelling skills to ensure all communication materials are written in a cohesive, polished way that enhances our brand. Responsibilities include creating blog articles, working on email marketing campaigns, improving UX copy across all our products, conducting SEO and keyword research, and writing scripts for Paxful videos. Ultimately, you will help boost our brand awareness through creating engaging online content. If you have a flair for words, copywriting samples, and a professional or academic background in Marketing, we’d love to meet you!

What you'll be doing:

• Write and proofread blog articles about Bitcoin, its communities, blockchain, and company products/services
• Work with the Design team to create UX copy for desktop and mobile
• Submit well-structured drafts to Senior Copywriters and Editors within deadlines
• Participate in email marketing campaigns
• Implement SEO practices to increase visibility and conduct basic keyword research
• Connect with internal team members (e.g. product developers and salespeople) to learn about product features
• Help develop a strong and recognizable brand voice
• Update and improve existing content on our web pages
• Write scripts for Paxful videos

What you bring to the table:

• Work experience as a Junior Copywriter, Content Writer, or similar role
• Copywriting samples; a portfolio of published articles is a plus
• An ability to describe product features in a creative and informative way
• Excellent writing and editing skills in English
• Hands-on experience with Content Management Systems
• Basic knowledge of SEO and keyword research tools
• Familiarity with social media for business
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or relevant field

Ideally, you also have:

• Experience or interest in cryptocurrency, blockchain and/or financial technology
• Experience with Jira and Confluence
• Solid time-management skills
• A creative and technical mind, along with a great sense of humor
