As the first Copywriter at Alt, you will have the opportunity to shape our brand’s voice in all areas of the user’s journey. You have a passion for writing smart, clever copy while also being clear and concise. You’ll work within the Creative team to enhance Alt's email campaigns, blogs, advertising, and social channels. You get to be the person driving our voice in order to best connect with existing users and entice new audiences to join this new wave of investing.

The impact you will make:

• Write, guide and execute copy across the following channels: Marketing, CRM, Press, Paid Media and User Acquisition.
• Be a strategic thinker and creative storyteller to bring the brand to life in all mediums 
• Responsible for quality control on all materials to ensure creative intention: tone, language, value propositions and legal clearances are adhered to and maintained.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously and pay close attention to detail
• Implement ongoing communications with internal stakeholders to ensure a strong feedback loop.
• Have a continual pulse on current trends to identify new topics of interest
• Write copy for blogs, emails, social posts, paid ads, scripted content, onlyalt.com, and anything else that pops up. 

What you bring to the table:

• Proven track record of creating engaging content for digital platforms, blogs, and email campaigns (and the portfolio to back it up).
• Creativity and a love for brainstorming.
• Proactive approach - you show a bias for action when you see an opportunity to help the team.
• A team player that knows the values of collaboration and an all-hands-on-deck approach.
• Past experience working with new and emerging brands.
• Proven ability to turn projects around quickly and efficiently to meet deadlines.
• Entrepreneurial and self-driven with great communication skills.
• 6+ years of experience in copywriting for marketing: agency and in-house experience in the tech space.
• Bonus points if you are passionate about investing and are familiar with alternative assets (crypto, NFTs, etc)
