The Role:

AlphaSights is looking for an ambitious and thoughtful individual to join the Professional Development team (aka Learning & Development team). Professional Development at AlphaSights provides opportunities for our employees to continuously grow their skills and, ultimately, to achieve their personal and professional goals. You will work with the Manager of Professional Development and Digital Learning team to ensure we have best-in-class digital learning experiences that engage and excite our learners. A successful candidate will be passionate about digital instructional design and how to make learning stick for adults. They will do whatever it takes to support and enable coworkers to unlock their full potential. You will be involved in everything from onboarding to senior leader development.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop engaging, informative, and visually compelling digital learning content to bring learning opportunities for employees to ensure they are developing and can access professional development resources to grow their careers
  • Utilize instructional design and adult learning theory in the conception, design, and development of training materials
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts on training topics to help create, design, and develop technical and non-technical content into engaging learning experiences
  • Build relationships with stakeholders to understand how your content is being received and engaged with, and take action based on feedback
  • Build and execute a training design plan based on learner needs
  • Ensure alignment of the training curriculum (i.e.; training topics, branding, leadership concepts/models, business strategies, etc.)
  • Manage courses, programs, and learners in a Learning Management System (LMS)
  • Create processes that optimize an environment that consistently changes
  • Stay up-to-date on emerging trends and technologies related to instructional design and digital learning

What we look for

  • 2+ years of experience in instructional design (preferably with a digital focus)
  • Attained bachelor's degree
  • Fluency in English required.
  • Experience designing for various modalities and formats, including digital, classroom, blended, infographics, supporting guides, etc. is preferred
  • To be successful in this role, you should display:

    • Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines, manage heavy workloads and prioritize
    • Rigorous attention to detail: ability to execute on numerous workstreams within the same timeframe
