Position Summary
The Private Client Assistant will be responsible for providing sales support, excellent customer service, and administrative support, indirectly driving sales, increasing customer conversion and retention by providing a consistently superior level of service as well as introducing new customers to Moda and creating loyalty.

What You'll Do

  • Track clients’ orders (liaise with NY shipment department, DHL/UPS and SEKO warehouse)
  • Assist with placing client orders
  • Design and compile editorial images and event invitations
  • Support Senior Client Advisor with preparing presentations for clients (ad hoc power points depending of client’s needs)
  • Support Senior Client Advisor with customer inquiries effectively and efficiently, acting with a sense of urgency to deliver results
  • Update all merchandising for each appointment
  • Send out invitations, monitor attendance, RSVP list
  • Participate in Moda Madison events
  • Maintain base of global contacts and comprehensive knowledge of industry leaders
  • Assist with event planning, private appointments and travel arrangements
  • Work with Special Requests Team to process special orders and ensuring any delivery and special needs to customer are met
  • Support Client Advisor with customer inquiries effectively and efficiently, acting with a sense of urgency to deliver results
  • Demonstrate a can-do attitude in every situation to constantly raise the level of service provided and consistently exceed customer expectations
  • Recognize and avert probability of lapsed customers via outstanding service and communication
  • Optimize the customer experience through personalized, premium service

Who You Are

  • You have a Bachelor’s degree
  • Fluent in Photoshop and/or InDesign and Microsoft Office
  • You have a keen understanding of luxury client attributes, needs and expectations
  • Superior market, product and brand awareness, and exceptional ability to match this knowledge to customers’ needs
  • Demonstrated appreciation and understanding of the importance of customer care as a function of the business
  • Strong motivation and capacity to lead by example, inspiring productivity and results
  • Proven track record of constantly raising the bar, elevating service levels and driving sales
  • Excellent English verbal and written communication skills
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills and ability to build and maintain relationships in all scopes of business
  • Autonomous self-starter and confident decision-maker, able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to project an approachable and professional image in personal appearance, manner, and demeanor
