The Producer works closely and collaboratively with cross-functional teams to deliver against the project plan. This person is dedicated to digital content production for a specific Amplify business unit/product, with detailed knowledge of the pedagogy and system capabilities. The Producer may occasionally be asked to work on projects outside of their assigned business unit/product to help the Digital Production team prioritize projects. The ideal candidate for this role is results-focused and approaches their work with creativity.
Responsibilities of the Producer, Digital Production:

  • Complete day-to-day production tasks; maintain documentation and update trackers
  • Assemble and organize author content into the content management system, review, QA and resolve issues
  • Manage the continued development and maintenance of projects
  • Maintain communication among cross-functional teams (digital production, curriculum, design, product management, engineering) to ensure alignment of implementation
  • Modify and enhance curriculum content to integrate and exemplify available technology and design
  • Aggregate and distill input from the team and key partners, developing the best approach for incorporating feedback into project executions
  • Collaborate with all departments to define and manage goals, scope, specific results and scheduling needs
  • Advise ongoing improvements to workflow and production pathways
  • Facilitate timelines and proactively address bottlenecks
  • Ensure efficient and timely production of all project elements


Basic Qualifications:

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years of experience in a digital media production role, with a history of successfully delivering digital products
  • Excellent organization and project management skills
  • Experience with full project lifecycles, from concept to delivery
  • Experience in Google Docs, Sheets, and other project planning and tracking applications
  • Experience with asset and content management systems
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and experience collaborating with teams


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Working knowledge of CSS, HTML and XML
  • Experience with Agile software development
  • Experience with mobile/tablet/web content strategy, production and development
  • Experience working in education
