Description:

Project Managers are at the center of our Design team's designers, writers and researchers. A new role to the Product Design team, Project Managers are experts at driving their teams towards deadlines and keeping the project on strategy. They’re creative problem solvers who know each detail of any given project, and understand how a quality product only comes together at the intersection of Product, Design and Technology. In addition, they have a strong appreciation for quality of work and user feedback.

Responsibilities:

• Autonomously manage multiple mid- and large-sized, highly technical projects
• Work with Design, Product and Tech to clarify requirements
• Collaboratively define the approach, timeline and scope of projects (goals, deliverables, and schedule) and track progress against the plan
• Manage interdisciplinary teams to evolve and execute conceptual work into clear sets of deliverables
• Keep projects on schedule through clear task lists, issue tracking, status reports, and meeting notes
• Ensure all project deliverables are on time and meet quality standards
• Proactively communicate project progress, issues, and resolutions to the working teams
• Play a dual role of advocate for the Design team and partner to Product and Tech

Qualifications:

• 3+ years in project management or production in an agency or product environment
• Flexible, pragmatic, detail oriented and is the calm in the eye of the storm
• A natural problem solver
• An expert at setting clear expectations, and proactively communicating changes to internal and partner teams to ensure everyone is aware of what to expect at all times
• Excellent negotiations skills, capable of building consensus among very talented, passionate team members
• A proven track record of successfully delivering projects involving complex product and technology challenges
• Experience working in Agile, with a strong ability to adapt and adjust methodology depending on team needs and timelines
• A love of data, and a passion for being on top of new platforms and technologies
• A Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field, or relevant work experience
