Narmi's Co-Founders previously ran a financial institution as CEO and CTO so understand the challenges and needs of the market first-hand. This gives us a unique competitive advantage and heavily influences our product and engineering efforts.
The nature of the sales process to financial institutions can be complex and often requires a Request for Proposal (RFP) or a Request for Information (RFI). It is essential we put our best efforts into these documents. The RFP Writer will spend 70-80% of their time developing these complex documents detailing different aspects of Narmi's platform as it pertains to the potential customer's specific questions. This position is expected to coordinate with other departments and understand terminology and functionality found within the software that is important to the proposal while at the same time conveying value to the requester. Over time, this information should live with this person and in a knowledge base. The remaining 20-30% of their time will be supporting the Sales Team by answering ad-hoc product questions and curating the aforementioned internal sales and customer success knowledge base.

Responsibilities
- Maintain an in-depth working knowledge of the Narmi Platform and how it can be configured, customized and implemented to meet customer requirements
- Take ownership of assigned "Requests for Proposal" (RFPs) and "Requests for Information" (RFIs) and develop timely, high-quality and competitive proposals that are compelling.
- Understand the unique needs of the prospect and industry to suggest and articulate the right solution
- Identify and define scope of services, coordinate with departments and employees to gather and incorporate content and ensure completeness
- Develop and maintain the most current product knowledge. Remain current on new developments in banking technology.
- Maintain a RFP database as well as document commonly asked questions in an "FAQ" database for future reference
Requirements
- 4+ years working in a digital banking or digital account opening setting. Experience in business related digital banking functionality is a plus.
- High level of internet literacy is a must, with strong knowledge of web systems, tools, and applications
- Excellence in Microsoft Excel, Powerpoint, Word and high capacity to learn new technology tools (Slack, Wrike, Github, Zenhub, etc.)
- Ability to manage and hit multiple deadlines
- Demonstrated excellent written and verbal communications skills including technical writing
