The Senior Content Manager will lead all content marketing initiatives across multiple platforms and formats to build the brand, drive customer engagement, and drive acquisition.

This individual is an excellent storyteller. They are able to discover compelling stories, conduct research and interviews to develop the content and bring the stories to life in various formats. They will work closely with the customer segment, PR, digital and email marketing team members to develop distribution plans for the content that drive results.

Brand consistency, segmentation and localization, analytics and meaningful measurement are all fundamental elements of this role. The position will be an integral part of the marketing team and will work across the organization with sales, product development, clinical, technology and customer success.

Accountabilities:

  • Develop an effective content marketing strategy and editorial plan to to drive traffic, engagement, and leads across our audience segments.
  • Collaborate within the marketing team and across functions to develop, test, distribute and analyze content.
  • Story discover - constantly seeking out compelling and inspiring stories
  • Story development - conducting research, interviews, writing and coordinate the production of the story across video, photography, copy, graphic elements using internal and external support
  • Content distribution - segmentation, targeting, channel optimization (social media, digital media, PR, sales collateral, events)
  • Analytics - measurement, optimization of the content to drive results
  • This role requires a brand publisher mindset: to create the content our audiences are looking for and then to optimize the path to conversion.
  • Develop content across a variety of channels, including but not limited to social media, blogs, white papers, e-mail, newsletters, webinars, presentations, infographics
  • Integrate content programs with brand campaigns
  • Develop and manage editorial calendar and organization workflows.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • BA/BS 
  • 6+ years experience in a content management role, with heavy emphasis on story discovery and development
  • A great writer
  • Editorial mindset, seeking to understand what audiences consume and how to create it
  • Ability to analyze and measure content performance
  • Experience with Google analytics, social media channels, WordPress (or other CMS) is preferred 
  • Project management skills and understanding how to manage the priorities of multiple stakeholders in a complex and fast-moving environment
