Casper is looking for a Senior Copywriter to join our growing New York creative team. We’re looking for someone with a wild imagination, a smart writing style, and an editor’s eye. The ideal candidate will be organized, able to brainstorm big ideas, and execute creatively. Our Senior Copywriter will collaborate and support Casper’s creative team and contribute to the evolution of our brand voice across product launches, digital product, marketing channels, physical experiences, packaging, and more.

The Sleep Company has a full portfolio of obsessively engineered sleep products—including mattresses, pillows, bedding, and furniture—designed in-house by the Company’s award-winning R&D team at Casper Labs. In addition to its e-commerce business, Casper owns and operates Sleep Shops across North America and its products are available at a growing list of retailers.

When you’re not catching zzz’s, this is what you’ll do:
- Write clear, creative copy for web content, digital ads, promotional materials, retail signage, and other marketing collateral.
- Collaborate with designers to concept and create omni-channel seasonal campaigns
- Be strategically minded, providing a range of options for testing themes and positioning
- Collaborate closely with stakeholders to maintain consistent brand messaging, voice, and tone across all communication channels and products
- Be self-motivated and comfortable working in a dynamic environment with tight deadlines
- Mentor and inspire team members
Our dream candidate:
- A strong, diverse writing portfolio
- 5+ years experience in a professional writing role
- Strong editorial judgment and writing ability
- Ability to balance multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize your workload
- Capable of working independently and as part of a team
- Familiar with entrepreneurial and tech-driven creative environments
- E-commerce experience a big plus, but not required
