We are looking for a beauty copywriter and social media editor to help set the tone and voice of one these exciting ventures.

What You Will Do:

• Brainstorm, pitch, research, and write 5-10 stories per week about beauty, health and wellness
• Discover, write, and assign viral and trending beauty news on a daily basis
• Research and share perspective on cutting-edge formats and visuals
• Help set and execute creative strategy across multiple social platforms
• Conduct original reporting and interviewing to produce in-depth features
• Assign and line edit content from other team members
• Use analytics and data daily to inform pitches, content decisions, and strategy
• Support Editorial Director/Executive Editor to develop and market content as needed
• Closely follow beauty-related news, media and trends
• Attend and report on events as needed
• Create original content for social media, video, and other platforms
• Program all content on social media platforms: Facebook, Pinterest, Twitter, Instagram and track analytics on these platforms

Who You Are:

• 2-4 years of experience in beauty, health or wellness related writing/editing OR blogging (required)
• Passion for and experience creating beauty, health or wellness content
• Relationships within the industry and strong knowledge of the beauty landscape
• Strong writing skills and ability to turn around clean copy under tight deadlines
• A passion for social and digital media content and a strong understanding of the social media landscape
• An ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment
