About the role
Redesign is looking for a Studio Manager to oversee our office operations. We know that creating a productive and pleasant office environment goes beyond ordering pens and having cold brew on tap. It’s about being a problem solver, a people lover, a multitasker, a project manager. As someone who knows the ins and outs of our space and the people who inhabit it, you’ll be in charge of making the world go round in the Redesign office. As a trusted business partner, you will also provide administrative support to our CEO.
What you'll do:
- Office operations
- Greet visitors, keep track of them and make them feel welcome in our space.
- Choose vendors for food and office supplies and manage these relationships.
- Suggest and plan team events inside and outside of the office.
- Distribute mail and packages.
- Monitor supplies and track spending.
- Help with the employee onboarding process.
- Be the point person on all things office-related.
- Executive support
- Manage the CEO’s calendar, scheduling meetings and making sure they happen on time.
- Prepare meeting rooms as needed.
- Work with the CEO to prioritize important meetings.
- Book restaurants and other accommodations as needed.
What you're like:
- Bachelor’s degree with a 3.5 or higher GPA.
- 2 - 4 years of experience as an office manager, administrator, or assistant.
- Impeccable email etiquette.
- Extensive experience with office software (Google Calendar, Docs, Sheets and Office products).
- Excellent organizational and verbal communication skills.
- A “no task too small” mindset–fixing things is your jam.
- Can work quickly and knows how to prioritize.
- Solution-oriented and forward-thinking.
- Can come up with creative solutions and work around problems.
- You like making people happy and you’re smart about the way you do it.
