Joining Collibra's Education team:

The Technical Curriculum Developer will be joining the Education team and reporting to the Sr. Manager, Instructional Design. Our team mission is to produce engaging, high-quality curriculum to accelerate adoption and reduce onboarding time for our customers and partners. This role will assess highly advanced technical subjects and develop learning solutions applying adult learning principles to enable learners to rapidly absorb the technical content.

Technical Curriculum Developers at Collibra are responsible for:

  • Building relationships and collaborating with internal stakeholders to align product roadmaps with content updates or new educational offerings
  • Creating detailed, engaging persona/role-based learning paths and assessments 
  • Creating a training audit cycle and archive process for training materials in order to ensure technically accuracy of all educational material; maintaining a catalog of training materials
  • Working with Instructional Designers to plan, create, analyze, and update courses, exercises and assessments that can be delivered as instructor-led, on-demand and virtual lab delivery
  • Assessing the learning path efficacy and and applying changes to existing content to improve and enhance the Collibra Certification Program and its offerings

You Have:

  • 4+ years education experience developing instructional materials for technical audiences (as a Technical Trainer or Curriculum Developer)
  • 3 + years of experience with at least one of the following: data modeling tools, API’s, Java coding, BPMN engines
  • Demonstrated knowledge of leading-edge training platforms, technologies, and content creation tools

  • Able to manage ambiguity with a strong ability to prioritize, apply time management and adhere to deadlines 
  • Strong in interpersonal skills, including verbal and written communication and the ability to work collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams
  • Committed to a culture of continuous improvement, regularly seeking feedback about individual and departmental performance

Reporting to Collibra's Sr. Manager Instructional Design, measures of success are:

  • Within your first month, you will participate in instructor-led bootcamps to achieve product knowledge for Getting Started, Workflow and Catalog
  • Within your third month, develop a matrix containing role based certification paths, including curriculum requirements, updates necessary, exams and outcomes.
  •  Within your sixth month, you will align and update course and training materials for Solution Architect certification.
