Training and Content Operations Specialist
The Role
Cedar is improving the healthcare financial experience. Our technology improves the overall experience of patient billing and engagement, enabling providers to thrive in a constantly evolving environment while helping patients understand the cost of their care.
Cedar is seeking a Training and Content Operations Specialist to be responsible for the creation, maintenance and improvement of Cedar’s training materials and execution of client- and internal-facing training. This role will work with members of Cedar’s Client Implementations team to tailor the Cedar Training experience to suit their clients’ needs and expectations. The Training and Content Operations Specialist will also work closely with a cross-functional team to ensure that upcoming updates to our product suite are appropriately represented in the materials they own.
This role will report directly to the Training and Content Operations Lead and have the opportunity to collaborate on updates to cross-functional processes and training methodology.
Responsibilities
- Design and build high-quality training materials and learning modules across multiple platforms, based on need. (e.g. Help Center, Learning Management System, e-learning, training manuals and one-pagers)
- Collaborate with members of the Client Implementations team to provide bespoke materials and training for currently implementing clients
- Conduct internal new hire onboarding for Cedar’s product suite
- Become a true Cedar Product expert
Required Skills & Experience
- 1.5-3 years of experience in developing and executing high-quality training experiences
- Ability to command a virtual or in-person room effectively and reach a diverse audience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to learn quickly and meet deadlines
- Highly motivated with a strong work ethic and good judgment
- Strong interpersonal skills - you care about people and are passionate about helping others!
- Willingness to travel to client sites a maximum of 5 times a year, post-COVID
Bonus Qualifications
- Knowledge of or experience with healthcare or medical billing
- History of building out client-facing content
- Familiarity with Adobe Captivate or a similar program for software simulations
- Experience teaching people how to use software
