We are getting ready to launch and scale a stealth startup that will transform the medical aesthetics market and beauty space. With funding already in place, this startup is well positioned to disrupt the multi-billion dollar US medical aesthetics market, infusing cutting edge technology and killer content into an industry primed for innovation. We are looking for a video and photo editor who will be responsible for producing and editing original content for a website. The ideal candidate will have a passion for storytelling and an interest in the beauty and/or medical aesthetics industry.

What You Will Do:

• Help bring creative ideas to life in a relevant, engaging, and visual multimedia way
• Work with venture team, graphic designers, edit team, and more to create videos combining raw footage, photography, motion graphics and audio
• Absorb creative direction while bringing unique beauty focused ideas and a point of view to the table
• Work with marketing content team and other producers on revisions through delivery
• Manage and hire freelance photographers, videographers, producers, stylists, makeup artists, etc for photo and video shoots
• Book talent and location space for photo and video shoots
• Mold and shape the narrative and message of mini-doc style videos
• Search and acquire appropriate assets
• Brainstorm and contribute beauty and medical aesthetics video ideas
• Works with Editorial Director on video scripts
• Manage digital assets from multiple sources; creates internal stock image platform
• Oversees photo agencies, helps to find images for stories, and creates graphics as needed
• Consistently deliver a number of videos on time
• Collaborate in a number of pitches
• Troubleshoot technical issues

Who :

• 3+ years’ experience as a video editor creating online video content
• Outstanding visual eye for elevated photography and videography
• Expertise with Adobe Creative Suite, Google Docs, Photoshop, and publishing processes
• Knowledge of related popular culture, trends, and internet memes is a plus
• Familiarity with a fast paced post production environment
• Extreme attention to detail, especially with tight deadlines
• Ability to multi-task and problem solve effectively
• Adaptable in working within a budget
• Ability to a read a data table and charts
• Exceptional technical abilities
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, willing to coordinate/manage own time
