We are seeking a Video Content Creator to join our growing marketing team. Reporting directly to our Senior Video Manager, this position will be a hybrid role in a fast-paced startup environment where you will be both shooting and editing video content.

This hire will need to be ambitious and highly creative—someone self-motivated with a strong work ethic looking to tell engaging brand stories. If you have excellent attention to detail, exceptional organizational and time-management skills, a high level of interpersonal collaboration, and the ability to take direction and critical feedback with humility - Stash is looking for you! 

What you'll do:

• Craft video content from ideation through post-production
• Play a crucial role in collaborative brainstorms and concept creation
• Shoot beautiful and compelling video footage
• Edit footage to create well-paced, engaging, and interesting narratives
• Provide sound sweetening and creative sound design
• Deliver content for both web and broadcast
• Work with the marketing team to ensure consistency and quality of all final video output—to align with and continue to build our brand identity
• Creatively source and secure footage from third-party sources when necessary
• Make use of the data around our videos, to guide direction for future content

What we're looking for:

• 2-4 years of video editing and production experience
• Experience crafting both short and long-form video content
• Ability to tell a cohesive story
• Ability to shoot video on location or within a studio environment
• Background in pre-production fundamentals such as camera setup, lighting, and sound
• Well-versed in project setup, archiving footage, and managing assets
• Proficient in color correction, sound design, and audio mixing
• Strong understanding of current visual trends—in the areas of cinematography, motion, animation, and editing
• Team player and an excellent collaborator
• Great communication and problem-solving
• Receptive to creative direction and feedback
• Ability to adapt and work well within tight deadlines
• Superior attention to detail

• Able to create your own storyboards
• Experience writing scripts for video
• Expertise in designing motion graphics
• Animation capabilities (character animation, stop-motion, etc.)
• Photography (lifestyle and studio setting)
