We are looking for a top-notch video editor who can help conceptualize and edit video content for paid social channels (with an emphasis on Facebook and Instagram), including social ads and product demos. This person is well-versed in all aspects of video content creation. The ideal candidate has an obsession with storytelling and creating performance-driven content and is adaptable and able to take on any video idea and come at a project with multiple perspectives. They must be highly organized and capable of editing multiple variant short videos with direction from internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Participate in ideation phase of new campaigns with the Acquisition team
• Create and edit engaging and sales-driven short-form video content for paid social channels that drive people to purchase
• Help conceptualize and edit multiple variants of campaigns
• Develop visual styles that fit and elevate brand's core messaging
• Finalize the graphic layouts, appearance, and timing of each ad
• Collaborate with internal Creative team to identify creative asset needs for video content
• Partner with the performance & data teams to analyze the results of your work and share learnings with Marketing team with recommendations on how to improve video performance for future projects.

About You

• 2+ years of experience in video editing, motion graphics, and design
• Deep knowledge and experience in creating social content that is thumb-stopping and engaging
• Passionate, innovative and full of ideas on how to leverage video for performance marketing
• Candidate should have the ability to think conceptually and aesthetically, translating creative direction into visual references, as well as tactically, to envision multiple approaches and variants to a concept
• Advanced knowledge of Premiere as well as After Effects
• Experience in TV Advertising and/or TV Promo is a plus
• Having interests outside of editing/motion graphics, such as producing, directing, shooting, set design, styling, etc., is a plus
• Must maintain a full understanding of creative, video and digital processes as they relate to video production
• Strong workflow management, planning, prioritization and communication skills
• Must provide a link to your reel
