Video Editor

To support our growing business, we're looking for a Video Editor to work closely with our Marketing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for weaving together original footage, graphics, and other post-production elements. Edited video will be delivered in multiple digital media formats for content and ads.
What you’ll do:
- Edit together video and audio gathered from content creators or created in-house, to build original content and ads
- Create videos combining raw footage, photography, motion graphics, and audio
- Work with our marketing team to collaborate on strategy for video production
- Deliver a finished video at multiple digital media sizes and formats
- Mold and shape the narrative and message out of long-form video into short-form video
- Brainstorm and contribute video ideas
- Troubleshoot technical issues
- Work with team on revisions through delivery
- Present to senior management
- Work both on and off-site
What you’ll bring:
- In-depth knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects, and Photoshop
- The creativity needed to build engaging, impactful video content
- Ability to build animated graphics in After Effects is a strong plus
- Graphic Design Skills and Animation experience a plus
- Familiarity with a fast-paced post-production environment
- Experience in web video content is a must
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, willingness to coordinate/manage own time
- Exceptional English writing and listening skills for writing both open and closed caption for web video content
Education & Experience:
- BA/BS/BFA in a related field such as film production, animation, design, journalism, communications, or equivalent experience required
- 2+ years experience as a video editor
