As Creative Director you will keep one foot on the gas to help generate big ideas and concepts and two hands on the wheel, managing the creative team and processes from ideation to completion. Additionally, you will work in partnership with our VP of Product, to help create and drive the design strategy at Stash, ensuring consistency across marketing and software product design.

Our ideal candidate is a true player-coach, flexing easily between building high-level strategy from the ground up and jumping into the minutia to grind hard alongside the marketing team. This is a tremendous opportunity to join the fastest growing financial services app in the United States, and we will expect our Creative Director to get their hands dirty, finding creative solutions to hard problems, with limited budgets and timelines. It’s go time!

What you'll do:

  • Own the creative strategy from ideation to execution for the Stash brand across all marketing channels
  • Partner directly with our VP of Product to ensure consistency of voice, tone, and brand across our suite of software products/features
  • Translate marketing objectives into clear creative strategies
  • Lead and direct the creative team in the production of all marketing creative (acquisition assets, video, educational materials, radio spots, etc.)
  • Ensure visual communication and brand standards are met
  • Oversee deliverables, timelines, and budgets
  • Manage and cultivate the career development of staff members, including designers, art directors, and copywriters

What we're looking for:

  • 8+ years in creative roles
  • 2+ years of management experience with a passion for coaching and talent development
  • B2C product experience, required
  • UX/iXD expertise
  • A creative strategist and design master
  • A stellar communicator, presenter, problem-solver and multi-tasker with top-notch project management skills
  • A strong understanding of industry trends and creative tools such as Adobe Creative Suite
