ROLE:

Saavn is seeking a Data Analyst Intern for Fall 2017 semester who will use their knowledge and passion in data-mining, quantitative analysis, and data visualization to tell stories behind the numbers and derive actionable insights for Saavn advertisers and help in achieving business goals.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide relevant data to the Brand Solutions team to help them in their conversation with clients
• Conceptualize and build dashboards that are simple, visually appealing, yet showcase a powerful story
• Solve ambiguous problems using data and providing practical business insights
• Initiate and drive projects to completion with minimal guidance
• Communicate the results of analyses in a clear and effective manner
• Think and work independently, demonstrate creativity, and deliver quick results

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s degree in progress or recently completed in an analytical field (e.g. Marketing/Marketing Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering or another technical field)
• 1-2 years of experience in data analytics
• Knowledge of SQL and Excel
• Some experience in data analytics and statistical programming using statistical tools such as R, SAS, SPSS etc. is a plus
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau is a plus
• Strong passion for numbers and statistics
• Strong analytical and data visualization skills
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, creative, innovative technology environment with a history of results
• A scrappy, entrepreneurial attitude and the ability to get high-quality projects done quickly
• Excellent communications skills including the ability to communicate clearly, professionally, both verbally and written, and at a level suitable for a variety of audiences.
• Excellent listening skills, inquisitive, positive, team-oriented, enthusiastic approach
