We are looking for an experienced Data Analyst to join our Data Science team. The Data Analyst is a key contributor to the product development of Sentia’s agentic behavioral health platform, utilizing a strong data-driven approach. This role involves seamlessly collaborating with various technical and non-technical stakeholders to translate data insights into actionable strategies and communicating the underlying data narrative to non-technical audiences. This analyst will be crucial in the initial setup and architecture of the data warehouse, establishing the foundation for all data operations. 

Key responsibilities include collecting requirements, querying databases, and developing dashboards and reports for both internal business stakeholders and external partners. The analyst excels in both qualitative and quantitative data analysis, identifying trends and surfacing crucial insights that lead to informed decision-making, and also excels in consumer product analysis.To work at Talkspace, you need to be as passionate as we are about our work, and excited to partner with us on delivering quality mental healthcare.

This is a hybrid position based at Talkspace Headquarters in NYC.

What You’ll Do

  • Data Visualization and Reporting
    • Develop and refine data visualizations that clearly communicate outcomes, network performance, and user engagement trends to stakeholders.
    • Create automated quality reports and network performance dashboards using Looker and other tools.
    • Deeply understand and analyze user pathways, business outcomes, and the dynamics of our provider/partner network.
  • Quantitative Analysis
    • Conduct thorough quantitative analyses to support business strategies.
    • Utilize your expertise in SQL and Python to manage business and provider data effectively.
  • Strategic Insights
    • Collaborate with business, finance, marketing and cross-functional teams to provide data-driven insights supporting product development and provider network operations.
    • Navigate the intricacies of a multi-sided marketplace, understanding different stakeholder needs and market drivers.
  • Communication and Collaboration
    • Engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to transform complex data insights into understandable and actionable strategies for enhancing customer service and provider engagement.
    • Work closely with a seasoned Data Science team to leverage advanced analytics in shaping business and network intelligence strategies.
    • Create and present easily digestible and actionable recommendations to senior leadership, influencing key decision-making processes.
  • Data Modeling and Pipeline Management Design
    • Build, and maintain robust, documented, and scalable data models (e.g., using dbt) within the data warehouse to support downstream reporting and analytical needs.
    • Collaborate with engineering teams to optimize data ingestion processes (ETL/ELT) and ensure the timely availability of high-quality data.
  • Analyze agentic platform performance metrics
    • Metrics include model accuracy, latency, conversation depth, and user adherence to behavioral protocols.

About You 

  • 3-5 years of experience in an analytical role, experience with healthcare data (patient outcomes, capacity planning, etc.) a plus.
  • BA/BS in a quantitative field like statistics, applied mathematics, economics, computer science, or equivalent experience.
  • Proficiency in SQL, python, and Excel / Google Sheets.
  • Comfortable with statistics and data manipulation.
  • Advanced skills in data visualization tools like Looker or Tableau are essential.
  • Experience with product analytics tools like Mixpanel.
  • Experience with leveraging GenAI tools is a plus.

Compensation

At Talkspace, we believe that pay transparency during the interview process is a critical part of diversity, equity, and inclusion. Our salary bands are based on internal and external compensation benchmarks, which we regularly evaluate to ensure we pay competitively.

The base salary range for this role is between $110,000 and $130,000. Within the salary bands, leveling corresponds to each candidate’s relevant experience, skills as assessed during the interview process, education, and applicable certifications.
