StartUp Health is hiring a data-driven individual with excellent analytical skills and experience to help drive the quality, structure, entry and analysis of all company and industry data; including 200+ portfolio companies, $25B in digital health startup funding, and 10K customer and investor stakeholders. The ideal candidate possesses a broad understanding of global master data management and is comfortable and excited by both data entry and analysis. This new role is based out of our NYC headquarters.

Key Responsibilities

• Champion people, process and technology solutions to improve data management and quality
• Maintain expert knowledge of master data management, end-to-end processes, and related solutions and capabilities
• Conduct routine and ad-hoc data entry and analysis for thought partnership for team to work smarter
• Build recommendations by synthesizing data from multiple sources, developing assumptions, when needed, to drive business insights
• Assist in development of reports and presentations, providing content and actionable insights
• Coordinate with function groups to ensure that all information is timely, accurate and complete
• Establish and monitor the governance of our data standards and processes
• Respond to ad hoc requests, hold training as needed, and handle reconciliation and correction of data issues

Education & Experience

• 3+ years experience in analytics or decision sciences field with experience in data structure, entry, maintenance, analysis, and reporting
• High proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, vlookups, formulas, functions)
• Experience with data management tools is a plus
• Bachelor’s Degree in a quantitative discipline
