The Advanced Analytics Analyst is responsible for helping build best-in-class operation analytics. This role requires an exceptional individual who is intellectually curious, analytical, enthusiastic, detail-oriented and a self-starter. This is a highly visible individual contributor position central to the efficiency, optimization of Casper operation continuous improvement in collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders.

When you’re not catching zzz’s, this is what you’ll do

  • Support the operations team with analysis and insights to drive process improvements
  • Work cross functionally with multiple departments as a key stakeholder to drive more informed decisions for the business
  • Report a wide array weekly and monthly metrics from a variety of data sources in a clear, concise format
  • Responsible for idea generation and roadmap management. 
  • Build out the Tech-Analytics roadmap as it relates to Data Engineering pipelines, new data exploration needed and operationalizing customer facing programs.
  • Build business cases for program initiatives and prioritization of initiatives with supporting data
  • Analytic expert for omni channel data architecture 
  • Liase with Data Engineering and peer-Analytics teams to manage the collection and organization of customer / product analytics data for data science, management of model-ready variables, governance over effective cross-analytics collaboration and participate in personalization discussions to solution or scope the ask to Tech teams.
  • Build, interpret, quantify, visualize, and communicate the impact of data and other business intelligence into meaningful reporting and analysis.
  • Drive strategic initiatives including identifying issues, creating hypotheses, executing the analysis and translating data into meaningful insights and actions.
  • Ability and strong willingness to use data to answer first time asked questions, and solve large-scale ambiguous problems.
  • Investigate and implement ways to refine existing reporting and dashboards to make outputs more insightful and automated.
  • Build constructive and effective relationships with a broad, diverse group of partners
  • Communicate effectively, written and in presentation form as well as orally, with all levels of employees throughout the organization
  • Adapt and thrive in fast-paced, frequently changing environment

Our dream candidate is...

  • A bachelor’s degree, preferably related to Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, Economics, or Statistics.
  • Minimum of 4 years relevant supply chain experience in operational or consulting roles
  • Strong quantitative, analytical and critical thinking skills with demonstrated use of data analysis and metrics to drive decision making and continuous improvement
  • Experience with Google Suite (Google Slides, Google Sheets, Google Docs) and Microsoft Office (Excel, Powerpoint, Word)
  • Experience with Business Intelligence tools such as Looker, Tableau, Power BI
  • Loves to work cross functionally across a broad range of the business functions
