Discovery is seeking an enthusiastic Analyst to join our experienced and collaborative in-house Digital Consumer Insights team. This is a fantastic opportunity to generate and share insights with highly engaged stakeholders and support a variety of teams within digital such as Product, Design, Marketing, Content, Programming and more. Your work will span a range of both quantitative and qualitative research such as surveys, focus groups, desk research, and will directly influence the development of digital products used by millions of customers - such as our suite of TV Everywhere apps (e.g., Discovery GO, TLC GO, HGTV GO, and more.) and the newly launched discovery+ app.

Responsibilities
- Support Director of Digital Consumer Insights in the design and execution of a range of types of research studies, both qualitative and quantitative
- Assist in the programming and design set up for both surveys and moderated / un-moderated interviews
- Synthesize and analyze data collected from surveys and other research studies; translate research insights into actionable recommendations and direction
- Assist in day-to-day relationships and project logistics with external and internal partners
- Act as a knowledge source on the offerings of competitive sites and apps
Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in a related field of study
* 1+ years of experience designing and executing custom/primary research studies (quantitative research methodologies, survey design, data analysis)
* Strong critical thinking skills; ability to translate research findings into easily digestible, actionable insights
* Highly organized and detail-oriented; ability to juggle multiple tasks and projects in a fast-paced environment
* Expertise working in Excel and PowerPoint; prior experience with data analysis tools a plus
* Understanding of and experience working with metrics such as Satisfaction and Net Promoter Score desirable
* Prior experience or passion for working with digital media brands is a plus
* Must have the legal right to work in the United States
