Role Description:



Brand Networks is currently seeking an Analyst, Media Services with exceptional quantitative and analytical skills to oversee tactical paid social media implementation and strategy for Brand Networks clients. These individuals are the “portfolio managers” for groups of accounts across social channels. In this role, the Analyst will leverage the native platforms (Facebook/Instagram, Snapchat, Pinterest, Twitter, and TikTok) as well as Brand Networks proprietary Automation platform to effectively plan, buy, and optimize campaigns, ensuring that campaigns meet and exceed performance goals. This person should not only have strong analytical skills and have a thirst for critical thinking, but they should also have strong general problem-solving skills to deal with new challenges as they arise, excellent communication skills to impart critical information to a broad non-quantitative audience, and encompass a strong teamwork mentality. 


  • Oversee day-to-day campaign lifecycle tasks, including media recommendation delivery, campaign build and implementation, QA, management across multiple campaigns and supply sources, as well as identification and implementation of optimizations
  • Monitor daily campaign pacing and performance to exceed client KPIs and expectations; will be responsible for vocalization of delivery and/or performance concerns to larger account and client teams
  • Provide thorough reporting to clients on a weekly and ad hoc basis; have the ability to generate valuable insights through reporting to help inform future and current campaigns
  • Provide inputs and guidance around campaign design, including requirements for success and optimal use of both native platforms & BN’s proprietary Iris technology to achieve client goals
  • Brainstorm and implement new ways to improve advertising and engagement across social channels
  • Become channel partner subject matter expert, leading communication for the team, including owning partner status meetings, channel troubleshooting, and sharing platform updates
  • Maintain strong internal communication during all phases of the campaign lifecycle
  • Provide social channel expertise & tactical strategic recommendations to internal teams and clients
  • Participate in and own weekly client/agency status meetings
  • Work to gather best practices and share across teams
  • Properly follow and help refine processes in order to ensure quality of work across execution, reporting, and general analysis
  • Heavy QA involvement across all BN clients



Qualifications:


  • Recent experience buying in social platforms is a must (Facebook/Instagram is required, Snapchat and Pinterest is preferred)
  • 2+ years of direct social media experience required; experience working in a media planning or buying position at an advertising or media agency is preferred
  • Understands of fundamental ads metrics and calculations (CTR, CPC, CPM, CPA)
  • Experience with eCommerce, DTC, and CPG brands
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications or equivalent field of study
  • Intermediate Excel skills: comfort with pivot tables is a must
  • Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills; ability to analyze data, draw conclusions, and develop actionable recommendations
  • Will have proven ability to manage multiple projects at a time while paying strict attention to detail
  • Self-starter, willing to work and train remotely, while being integrated with teams in other locations/timezones
  • Ability to move fast, be bold, and thrive in a dynamic, quickly changing environment
  • Nimble team player with a great attitude
